You know something in the world is messed up when the guy panhandling at the subway station has an I-Pod.

It is strange to see something like that. I saw something similar once, I was in downtown Nashville, and I saw this man in clean clothes, new hiking boots, and what looked like a brand new camera bag and backpack. I thought he was a tourist. He walks up to a trash can in front of a fast food restaurant and starts looking in it. At first I thought ‘he must have accidentally thrown something important way.’ He pulls out a McDonalds bag opens it up and begins to eat a half eaten big Mac and left over fries. I was like huh? If the guy was that hungry I would have bought him some food. I mean I have seen people go through dumpsters before but never anybody in broad daylight on a public street. It was very surreal. I felt like a hidden camera was going to pop out at any moment…
