I’ve now officially been awake for 22.5 hours, and not by choice either. This is no way to get over being sick.
05:15am: I’ve now been up 23.5 hours…is there even any vague point in trying to sleep at this juncture? I can feel myself getting sicker when I was doing so well. Tomorrow (today) is my last day of medication. If I take it early enough in the day perhaps I can avoid that “most common” side effect of disturbed sleep. (And why would you market an antibiotic that keeps people fucking awake?)
Why the fuck does anyone ever take speed? Why would anyone willingly choose to not sleep? It’s like torture this not being able to rest.
I think I’ll go eat something and watch Casablanca, pulling it over my brain the way you would pull on a favorite sweat shirt when you’re cold.
